I created a Facebook account in 2012 but didn’t really post much until 2014. In 2018 I deleted my account (for secret reasons). It was a relief to let it go, but also a little sad. I quickly lost tabs of friends and extended family. Of course we still talk now and again, but I am much less aware of what’s going on in their day to day lives. Nevertheless I’m glad I left.

538’s “nowcast” now has Arizona blue again. I know voting for president in Arizona seems pointless most years because the outcome is pre-determined, but this is not one of those years. We can participate in sending a clear message that Arizonans do not support trump’s brand of hate. Vote now more than ever.
Clinton should have the Secret Service people stop and frisk trump before she shakes his hand at the debate. Just to be safe.

I’m supposed to be working but I got totally taken in by this article by Michael Chabon about taking his fashion-obsessed son to Paris Fashion Week. I don’t know diddly about fashion and anybody who’s ever seen me dressed knows I definitely don’t care either. But the conclusion here is universal and perfect. I dedicate this reading to my kids.
