Every time I see this stupid headline I want to amend it:
“Teen works hard all his life, excels academically, probably did a bunch of extracurriculars, who knows, maybe even volunteered rescuing baby seals, anyway, probably a great kid in a million ways; also (this probably didn’t impact the decision very much but) on one of his multiple essays…”
